Dr. Garaffa was born and raised in Manchester, CT.  She graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in Medford, MA, where she received a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child Development.  Dr. Garaffa then headed back to Connecticut to attend the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington.  She completed her pediatric residency at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and is a board certified pediatrician.  During her three years of residency training, Dr. Garaffa had the good fortune to work with Dr. Lamoureux at New Britain Pediatric Group for her continuity clinic.

Dr. Garaffa is very excited to join the exceptional pediatricians and staff at New Britain Pediatric Group full-time in July 2012.  She looks forward to caring for children and developing strong relationships with patients and their families.

During her free time, Dr. Garaffa enjoys reading, watching movies, swimming, and traveling. She is happy to practice in an area that allows her to spend time with her friends and family.
